Terms of Service

1. What the service does

Sonar watches public Telegram chats you connect, and notifies you about messages that match the niche you configured. Handling of data is described on the Data and Privacy page and forms part of these terms.

2. What we promise, and what we do not

We promise requests: messages in which someone is looking for what you sell. We do not promise clients, sales or revenue — what happens after the alert is up to you.

Classification is done by a language model and is not exact. We aim for roughly 80% precision, which means about one lead in five will be off. If a niche has no volume, we say so instead of selling you a subscription to silence.

The service depends on Telegram. Rate limits, restrictions on our accounts or outages on their side can interrupt or delay delivery.

3. Plans, trial and payment

• A new account gets a 30-day trial. Three days before it ends the bot warns you; when it ends, monitoring stops and your niches are disabled. Nothing is deleted at that moment.
• Prices are in US dollars: Solo $49/month, Pro $149/month. Exclusive territories are not on sale yet.
• Each plan carries limits — niches, sources, alerts, classifications per day. They are shown in the panel and enforced.
• While the product is in beta, the first 50 customers keep a 50% discount for as long as they stay, in exchange for feedback.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use leads for bulk unsolicited messaging. Sonar exists so you can answer one person who asked, not so you can build a mailing list.
• Do not resell or republish leads as a data product.
• Do not connect chats you have no right to be in, and do not use the service for anything unlawful in your jurisdiction.
• One account is for one business. Sharing an account across companies is what plans exist to price.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will say why.

5. Ending it

You can stop at any time by writing to @SonarLeadSupport; ask and your account and data are deleted. We can stop providing the service with reasonable notice, and will not bill for a period we did not serve.

6. Liability

The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for business decisions taken on the basis of a lead, for a lead that turned out to be irrelevant, or for missed messages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid in the preceding three months.

These terms are governed by the law of Hong Kong.
